Well, whoever you're chatting with would probably do this in case you advertise that you're going to be Pakistan. "But why Pakistan?", Adds someone.

To be brutally honest, this is a fairly natural reaction because of what the media portrays Pakistan. Either way, the reality is the reverse. Okay, I was the guest of this incredible country for over two weeks. And honestly, it's something that disappoints me. I mean, I wish I could have spent at least two months in Pakistan.

It may sound a little odd to you, but Pakistanis are ranked higher among the happiest nations in the world. One thing I liked most about the Pakistanis was that they were immaculately pure extremely hospitable. No kidding. Offering a cup of tea (or food when the time comes) is tradition everywhere. Whichever you visit, you will be warmly welcomed by the hosts and presented with everything you can hope for.

With this, Pakistan has managed to position itself No. 1 in the list of the main travel destinations of 2018. Yes, everything has changed now. I guess Pakistan will soon be given the status of one of the best adventurous destinations in the world. Yes, I have a lot of reasons to support my statement. Okay, I'll go.

Pakistan is one of the most sensational places to take your breath away. Amazing food, caring and beautiful people, architectural splendor, endless deserts, historic destinations, lush green woods, pure and pristine waters, snowy mountains, etc. This list will never end if you visit Pakistan as a lover of Mother Nature.

So if Pakistan is on your bucket list for the next trip, I'm here with some Pakistan travel tips to keep you safe throughout the tour.

Tip #1- Make up your mind and then start packing

Above all, make up your mind. Yes, it is something beneficial. If you fix your gaze on picturesque landscapes, snow-capped mountains or super hospitable people, go for it. Okay, to enter Pakistan, you have to get three things. A valid passport, visa and plane ticket and that's it. Whoa!
Once you've gone through all the basics, you're ready to dive into a whole new world of excitement. Pack your backpack properly (especially if you are desperate to visit northern Pakistan). Just keep enough clothes and stuff on you and don't overload. In case, your luggage exceeds the authorized weight limit, simply take advantage of the services of any company that deals with the shipment of goods to Pakistan at competitive rates.

Put on our cap before packing. Bring your clothes, shoes, sunscreen (if you go to Sindh and Punjab in summer), flashlight, travel bag, medication (if applicable) and the most important things you may need.

Tip #2- Keep a close eye on the weather while packing your rucksack

One of the most amazing things about Pakistan is that it offers various weather conditions. I mean, the climate can sometimes change even after every 10 km. So when packing your bag for Pakistan, take note of the weather conditions. If you are going to the northern regions of Pakistan, consider bringing warm clothes.

And this is not the case with Punjab and Sindh if you visit these places in summer. Always keep a close eye on the weather while packing your backpack.

Tip #3- Get the services of a guide or try to learn the local language

It is difficult to learn the culture and languages when you first visit Pakistan. In this case, you can hire a guide who is fluent in different languages. In addition, a local guide will guide you through local traditions and rules. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan (although most people in Punjab know basic English), so try to learn some common Urdu words and trust me, you will be very appreciated by the locals. .

Some of the common words I remember include "Assalam-o-Alaikum" (it is used by almost everyone in greetings), Shukriya (a very popular word for saying thank you) and "Khush Aamdid" (you will hear it everyone, it's a word to welcome others). And if you want to take someone's leave, just say "Khuda Hafiz". Well, it is not disgusting, you will be extremely appreciated, it is a given.

Tip #4- Be ready to face a Diverse Culture

Don't think about it anyway. No if, nor of but on this subject. Pakistan has a majority of Muslims (almost 90%), so this is going to be a cultural and religious shock for you. Yes, you heard right. The people there follow religious traditions and customs that you will not see anywhere in the world. With that, the food is excellent, absolutely amazing.

All right, let's go. Yes, proper attire is something you should keep close by (I'm brutally honest). In some mosques, shrines are the places where you pay for a call. In addition, removing your shoes is mandatory. Covering your head and especially your chest with a scarf (for backpacker women) will be fruitful. There are no two ways to do it.

Tip #5- Don’t forget to pack a camera

Without a shadow of a doubt, you will leave a piece of your heart after your visit to Pakistan. From snow-capped mountains to arid deserts, to crowded cities with tons of ancient architecture, Pakistan has it all. Either way, be sure to pack a decent camera to capture every moment you would spend in Pakistan. I mean, why not make a recording of all the moments that you can look back on afterwards?

Tip #6- Buy travel insurance

Not only is important travel advice to Pakistan, but certainly the most recommended advice for traveling anywhere in the world is to take out travel insurance. When traveling, you are exposed to all kinds of risks, whether it be a food poisoning problem, a broken bone, stolen luggage, a missed or canceled flight or any unforeseen situation, having travel insurance in hand is a blessing.

Safety Wing is a low-cost travel and medical insurance provider, offering 10-day insurance with as little as $ 13.2 (SUPER DUPER CHEAP!) In addition, a young child aged 14 days to 10 years old can be added with the adult at no additional cost, making it a perfect offer for people traveling with family. So why not travel worry-free to Pakistan with insurance on hand that is little for your pocket too.

One of the most important questions I was asked after I got home was “Is Pakistan safe?” Well, I want to make my point with this line “Yes, Pakistan is 100% safe except in areas adjacent to the Afghan border. ” And if you have recorded all the moments that you spent during your trip, you will be able to show your family and friends instead of telling stories. I must say that your camera will help you become a storyteller. Be sure to share your travel tips and experiences in Pakistan if you've ever been a guest at this phenomenal place.
