How to apply for a Visa

Visa applications must be made at any nearest Malaysian Representative Office abroad.
Applications can also be made online through the I-Visa System.

General Requirements for Applying Visa (For Pakistani)


  • 1 (One) visa application forms.
  • 2 (Two) recent photographs of the applicant (passport size / white background).
  • Original and photocopy of the National Identity Card of Pakistan (CNIC) (A4 size).
  • 1 (One) copy of the Cover Letter (individual or institutional, written in writing).
  • Original and photocopies of confirmed air tickets.
  • The validity of the original passport and photocopy of the passport (A4 size) must be more than 6 (six) months during the travel time.
  • Original copy of the Bank statements of the last six (6) months (minimum Rs. 100,000) sufficient funds to cover the expenses of individual or group travel (must be verified / certified by the issuing bank).
  • An invitation letter from the Malaysian sponsor is required for a business visit or to attend the conference.
  • Roundtrip plane ticket confirmed for the proposed trip.
  • Payment of visa fee (E-Visa fee Rs 9200 & Sticker Visa fee Rs 16,000)


MM2H visa applicant, please add:


  1. Original and photocopy of the letter of approval from the Immigration Department, Malaysia.
  2. Medical / health certificate of the approved medical center: -
  3. Airline tickets confirmed - Malaysia Airlines / PIA preference


Student visa applicant, please add:


  1. Original and photocopy of the offer letter from the University or College.
  2. Affidavit of the sponsor's letter of support and copy of the CNIC sponsor.
  3. Original and photocopy of the letter of approval from the Immigration Department, Malaysia.
  4. Original copy of the sponsor's Bank Statement - verified by the issuing bank (sufficient funds to cover the student's expenses).
  5. Ticket confirmed.


Employment Pass/Temporary Employment Pass applicant, please add:


  1. Original and photocopy of the letter of approval from the Immigration Department, Malaysia.
  2. Medical / health certificate of the approved medical center: -
  3. Plane ticket confirmed.

The status of the client to process the visa application is not more than 7 (seven) business days after submission to the Malaysian Consulate General in Lahore by the Visa Drop Box Agents designated by the Consulate.
